Our Annual Symposium attract archaeologists, anthropologists, historians, and academics from around the world who are interested in Maya heritage. These workshops provide a platform for knowledge exchange and collaboration among experts. This year we had the fortune to include the Maya descendants from rural communities.

This program seeks to address the need for preserving and promoting the rich cultural heritage of the Mississippian and Maya culture fostering greater understanding and appreciation among diverse communities in Georgia. With support from the Georgia Humanities grant funds, the project will organize a series of events and activities that are free and open to the public. The primary need for this project arises from the importance of preserving and celebrating the cultural heritage of the Maya culture, which holds significant historical, artistic, and linguistic value.

Aims to contribute to academic discourse by publishing research on Maya heritage. The journal serves as a valuable resource for scholars, students, and professionals working in fields related to Maya culture and history.
